Festival of Choirs Gorey 2017

"Thank You Beating Time for participating in the Festival of Choirs Gorey 2017, which took place in the Ashdown Park Hotel, Gorey on Friday 5th May 2017.

Your contribution helped to raise funds for the North Wexford Hospice Nursing Trust"

"On behalf of the Simon Community, and more importantly the people who rely on our services, I would like to thank everyone at The Beating Time Chorus most sincerely for your help with our Simon House of Light Show. The event is part of our annual campaign Simon House of Cards that provides critical support to the local Simon Communities throughout Ireland and is hugely important to us.

As a committed Simon supporter you are more than aware of the frightening numbers of people, families and children that are now falling into homelessness. By volunteering at the Simon House of Light Show, you helped these people along the road out of homelessness, towards a safe and secure home of their own.

Because of your support, the Simon Community are there for people every step of the way. We give people that helping hand to pick themselves back up from the pavements, and provide the encouragement, support and care they need to stay standing.

For all our daughters, sons, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and grandchildren that come to Simon’s door every day, we would like to thank you for showing your enduring support to the Simon Community. You will ensure that they won’t have to spend this winter, or any other winter, desperately seeking somewhere safe to spend the night.

As a Simon House Light supporter, you are a very important part of our work. With your help we are able to give people who are homeless the stability to start rebuilding their lives. Thank you for believing in the people that we serve and helping them to find their way home. Your kindness is greatly appreciated and we look forward to your support in the future.."

"Beating Time performed for me at a fund raising event in aid of No Bucks Cafe, Tiglin - Helping the Homeless in November 2013 at the Glenview Hotel as the opening act. They really were terrific and got the crowd going with their wonderful voices. It was a fantastic experience for all there! Thanks again to Beating Time for a wonderful experience."

"We were totally delighted by Beating Times' performance at the Greystones Toastmasters Christmas Party. It added so much joy and seasonal goodwill to the evening. The singers encouraged the audience to join in and the range of songs suited all tastes. It was incredible to listen to a very varied group of women singing in perfect haromony. If you want to add a touch of class to your event, Beating Time are perfect."

"The MS East Wicklow Branch have booked the Beating Time Singers many, many times and will book them again. Why? Because they are simply wonderful and a joy to listen to live. For an amateur group they put so much work into every tune they sing and likewise with every performance. They appeal to all age groups which few singing groups can admit to singing tunes from the classic Summertime, To Bye Bye Love. They have won numerous awards and one would be forgiven for thinking they were a full time professional group, they are that good. We have already booked them for our New Year Lunch next January. Thats testament itself. You will not be disappointed."
